Volunteers: Our students can always use another adult to read to; it is so important they practice reading aloud and you can help push their learning to the next level! I would love to have you in our classroom! I also always have prep work that could be completed from home. If you are willing and able, please let me know if you'd like to support from home!
Classroom Snacks: I purchase snacks for our classroom for most days of the week, however am always grateful to have donations! Our students always seem to enjoy: simple popcorn, goldfish, pretzels, fruit snacks or dried fruit leathers, granola bars, Cheezits, individual wrapped fruits or veggies, etc. If you would like your student to not consume classroom snacks, or if your student has major allergies, please let me know ahead of time and prepare snacks accordingly!
Classroom supplies: I have purchased supply boxes and supplies for every student in our class this year. I am excited to have all students start with what is needed for a successful year! I have also acquired headphones for each student, however many will break throughout the year. If you'd like to donate an extra pair of headphones, we can always use a backup pair! They are typically about $10 on amazon!
Small toys for the treasure box or Dollar Tree/ Amazon/ Target gift cards for prizes
"Special" supplies for the VIP table (smelly markers/ crayons, neon/metallic crayons, erasable pens, color changing pencils, gel pens, fun stickers, etc.)
Gallon, quart, and sandwich sized Ziploc bags -- more preferred are the bags with the sliding zipper piece for little hands who struggle to close Ziploc baggies.
Snacks as listed above, please try to remain healthy. :)
